Dog Training is not created equal, and The K9 Training Academy has proven this case by standing out from the rest. Obedience is more than understanding a few commands for a treat. Real obedience teaches and develops self control, then changes behavior. Our programs starts with Puppy Kindergarten, secondly to Basic Obedience level 1, then onward to level 2 Advance Obedience training. At the K9 Training Academy we not only train your dogs but we also educate the owners. All our programs are designed to bring the best out of your dog. We focus on transformation by education.
Once you have completed our registration process we will contact you to schedule the pick up
Enough food for the duration of its stay, Training treats, any medication or vitamins needed, and proof of vaccination
We do not recommend visitation during training because it will prolong the duration of the training, however we do post update videos and you have an option for video calls

Yes, trained dogs are safer than untrained dogs. Family protection dogs are specifically chosen by character end disposition. All dogs selected are trained for specific family scenarios. We make sure before going home to you, the dog is tested with children, animals and the environment.

Richard is the founder of The K9 Training Academy. Richard is a certified Master Canine Instructor with over 27 years of experience. He currently holds a certification in the following; Police Tactics Training, Police K-9 Handling, K-9 Detection, Business Management, K9 Protection Decoy and Service Dog Training. Richard has made his life goal to study human and canine behavioral studies. He has found his God-given purpose which is to help guide people and their dogs towards a disciplined life.
Chris has been handling dogs since the age of five. Being born in a dog training empire allowed him to easily find his calling. Certified by The K9 Training Academy he is following in his Father’s Footsteps.He is currently team leader and manager at The K9 Training Academy.
Leilani is an owner operator for our West Palm Beach territory. Leilani is also a graduate of The K9 Training Academy trainers course.
